Aviation Engineering

DuBois & King’s aviation engineers support municipal, state, and private general aviation and commercial airports. D&K planners and engineers include FAA-certificated private and commercial pilots who have thorough knowledge of regulations and strong working relationships with FAA staff. We support the preparation of grant applications, and our team’s experience and connections result in successful project funding and implementation. Projects support airport operations and serve airport users and tenants, such as commercial air, light industry, tourists, shippers, and medical transporters.

D&K assists with developing Capital Improvement Plans, managing grants, permitting, project bidding and award, construction administration, and project closeout. Airside projects include runways, taxiways, aprons, safety areas, lighting, fencing, hangars and tie-downs, and avigation improvements; landside improvements include parking and access and solar farms to offset airport power costs.
