Located near Moosehead Lake, 3B1 is served by a 4,000-ft-by-75-ft runway and a 3,001-ft-by-75-ft crosswind runway, hangars, tie-downs, a fuel farm, and a terminal. Since 2017, D&K’s aviation planners and engineers have served as the lead consultant team at the airport. Recent projects have focused on the addition of taxiways, general enhancements to the terminal area, a new beacon, a three-fuel dispensing facility, and increases in the number of hangars.
