Natural Resources/Wetlands

D&K provides comprehensive environmental services and strategies to protect the environment through avoidance, minimization, or mitigation of project impacts to natural resources. Our teams include professional wetland scientists, aquatic and terrestrial biologists, botanists, geologists, field naturalists, hydrologists, and NEPA and permitting specialists supported by civil, structural, and hydraulic engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and construction phase staff.

We provide environmental services for a wide range of project types. Services include identification of natural resources, such as surface waters, flora, fauna, ecological communities, RTE species, and wildlife habitat; design of wetland restoration and mitigation sites; and stream restoration, relocation, and construction and post-construction monitoring. Our professionals navigate state and federal regulations throughout the Northeast and provide proactive coordination with agencies to avoid permitting delays.
