Construction Observation

D&K’s resident project representatives (RPRs) operate as a supporting points of contact for the owner, design team, contractor, and appropriate stakeholders, such as regulators. Our staff observe the contractor’s activities on a full-time basis or periodically on highway, bridge, streetscape, dam, water and wastewater facility, airport, stormwater, site improvement, building, and other project types.

D&K RPRs coordinate and review field sampling and testing of soils, concrete, and materials; prepare daily and weekly tracking reports; respond to public questions in the field; maintain records; monitor schedules; develop and maintain photographic logs of contractor activities; attend and support substantial completion/final inspections; prepare punch lists; and provide red-line drawings.
