For Green Mountain Power’s Winooski Gorge 18 hydroelectric facility, DuBois & King provided structural and dam engineering services for a series of structural deficiencies and safety and accessibility improvements. Located on the Winooski River, the facility consists of a gate structure, forebay, concrete intake structure, concrete penstock, 14-ft diameter riveted steel penstock, riveted steel spiral case, Kaplan turbine, generator unit, and tailrace structure. Projects included:
