Taunton Terminal Building

Seeking a modernized and more capacious space for its administrative operations, the Taunton Municipal Airport advanced the construction of a 5,000-SF office building straddling a perimeter fence. D&K provided construction contract administration and observation and, as the Owner’s Project Manager, coordinated closely with the Contractor, Architect, Airport Operations, the Airport Commission, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation – Aeronautics Division. For this construction phase, D&K sought to maintain project progress by coordinating with Verizon, Comcast, Eversource Gas and Electric, and the town’s IT and water and sewer departments for the demolition of the previous administration building. The project also included construction of a beacon tower, underground utilities, parking lots, roadway, and surface amenities.
