The US 2 Segment 1 safety project required permitting, design, and planning services for the mitigation of impacts to nearby habitats. D&K conducted a wildlife habitat assessment and mitigation; identification, design, construction, and monitoring of a wetland mitigation site; permitting services; a site plan and conditional use approval from East Montpelier; coordination with state and federal agencies; and design of a relocated stream channel.
