Water Gate Valve Inventory

This fast-track project included collecting the location (within 0.06 ft) of approximately 1,535 water gate valve locations for the city’s GIS database and future projects. Working closely with the city and in coordination with ongoing roadway construction activities, D&K staff collected water gate valve locations using survey-grade GPS units tied into the Vermont CORS network. The project team took status OPUS observations to confirm accuracy within 0.06 ft of the New Hampshire State Plane Coordinate System.
