Statewide Highway Resurfacing

Statewide, Vermont | Vermont Agency of Transportation

To efficiently manage the design of highway surfacing and appurtenant systems, the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) engages consultants to supplement in-house engineering, environmental, and surveying services. Since 1998, D&K has provided design for state and US highways, including interstates, urban Class 1 sections of US or state highways, major and minor arterials, and rural roads. D&K’s highway team provides design for pavement reclamation, overlay and rehabilitation, drainage assessments and improvements, guardrail improvements, bridge joint replacements, bridge railing replacements, pavement markings, and roadway sign updates. Services include field survey, base mapping, engineering design and plan development, permitting, and cost/quantity estimation. All design services are completed in accordance with VTrans Standards, including use of English units and MicroStation/OpenRoads.
