Fair Haven Park & Ride

Fair Haven, Vermont | Town of Fair Haven

Located in the downtown core, adjacent to the Village Green, the Fair Haven Park and Ride lot consisted of lightly marked spaces with no separation from the roadway on either side. The large contiguous area of paved surface, lack of pedestrian facilities, and minimal striping provided a low level of service. Frequently used by residents and visitors, the Village Green was home to a large number of mature trees and lacked modern lighting. Through a robust public engagement effort, work with stakeholders, and the Town, D&K worked collaboratively to design reconfigured parking, new walkways, crossings, and curbing, a vibrant stormwater bioretention system, EV charging systems, and new lighting for the green.
