New Sunderland Town Office

For an 11-acre, municipally owned parcel along Sunderland and Pit Roads, D&K provided wetland delineation, design, and permitting services for a new municipal office building. The one-story municipal office building is approximately 3,000 SF and has on-site water and wastewater disposal. Our engineers developed alternative site plans, coordinated with the state and federal regulators, and developed a Preliminary Site Plan that met the town’s needs and satisfied wetland regulations. 

The town previously acquired permitting for and completed a 167-GPD, on-site mound wastewater disposal system. The location of the building changed to avoid wetland impacts, so our team revisited the wastewater system design and the proposed well location to determine if an amended permit was required.
