The US Fish and Wildlife Service had to replace the failing water supply sediment filter serving the hatchery fish rearing tanks. D&K designed a new filtration system and provided engineering guidance to allow the legacy system to remain online and serve the typical 22-MGD flows during the construction phase. Our team also optimized the system to reduce long-term maintenance costs and requirements. We specified the new filtration units and related pumping and process equipment and provided structural design for filtration supports and access systems, including catwalks.
