Depot Street Stormwater

Charlestown, New Hampshire | Town of Charlestown

The Charlestown drainage system consisted of 20 catchbasins, manholes, and approximately 3,700 feet of stormwater conveyance pipe, which collected stormwater from approximately 20 acres of pervious and impervious surfaces. D&K evaluated the stormwater collection and conveyance system due to observed system failures, such as stormwater being discharged from the system through inlets rather than the desired discharge locations. The evaluation addressed local and state roads and stormwater systems. The project team designed underground detention and infiltration practices and appurtenant upgrades to address failures.
