Burlington School District Travel Plan

Burlington, Vermont | Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission

The City of Burlington and Burlington School District required an assessment of regional, neighborhood, and individual school campuses’ travel patterns and access constraints. A school travel plan was needed for ten campuses, including elementary, middle, and high schools, to make recommendations for small- and large-scale products to increase equitable access to public school for all. Under an on-call contract with the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, D&K conducted evaluations and developed a travel plan for motorized and non-motorized transportation.
