EV Fueling Infrastructure Plan

Statewide, Vermont | Vermont Agency of Transportation

The Vermont Agency of Transportation wished to establish public electric-vehicle charging infrastructure on VTrans-owned property. Working for the Policy, Planning, and Intermodal Development Division of VTrans, D&K teamed up with the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation to author a plan to provide the necessary tools for an EV charging-station network. The project team evaluated VTrans properties for their suitability for different types of charging equipment, focusing on welcome centers, rest areas, and park-and-ride lots. The report included equipment recommendations with remote monitoring capabilities for efficient maintenance.
