DuBois & King is excited to welcome John Kenney as the firm’s Bangor office manager. John holds a doctorate in conservation biology from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine in Orono. He has 17 years of engineering experience and is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York.
John’s professional experience includes utility coordination, stormwater analysis, local, state, and federal permitting, site design, and the coordination of engineering disciplines. John also has nearly a decade of experience as a wildlife biologist working for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Earlier in his career, John worked as a wildlife biologist studying tigers in Nepal, India, and Thailand.
At D&K, John is responsible for continuing the growth of the firm’s professional services in Maine and leading an expanding multidisciplined team in Bangor. Locally, John serves on Bangor’s Planning Board and on the Downtown Parking Advisory Committee. In his spare time, John enjoys sailing, boating, and hiking.
